Trips to Rhine Ruhr including Ruhr Metropolis and Rhine region
Written by Garry and last edited by Garry on

When asked about places they know in Germany, most people answer with such names as Munich and Berlin. Cologne may be the first to be heard that is located in the Rhine Ruhr region.
A large area within the state of North Rhine Westphalia, the area offers tourists much to see. Vast swathes of hills and forests, several rivers such as the Ruhr and the Rhine, impressive cities and very friendly people await visitors from across the globe.
Besides business travellers who trade with local partners and come to see what’s on offer at numerous trade fairs, individuals and families are also discovering the sights. Whether the cathedral in Cologne, respected museums in Düsseldorf and Essen or recreational parks, walks and hikes, much is on offer.
